Q: How long is the season?
A: The club soccer season runs from August to May. (Due to high school soccer seasons, high school girls club teams play in the fall only from Aug-Nov and high school boys clubs teams play Nov-May.)
Q: How do I pay for my fees?
A: Fees are paid through TeamSnap, our club management system using a Credit Card or direct debit. For payments after the acceptance payment has been made, a check can be mail. For more information click HERE .
Q: Do teams only participate in outdoor leagues?
A: Besides fall and spring outdoor seasons, many younger teams elect to play in at least one indoor session. This is usually decided upon by the parents during the outdoor fall season and paid for directly to the indoor facility/league.
Q: When are tryouts?
A: Players may tryout for teams during the year by training with team, at ID Sessions in April/May or at annual tryouts held in late May/early June (dates can vary slightly each year). Some high school boys teams may hold supplemental tryouts in early November right after the high school season ends. ID sessions are preliminary tryouts held late in the spring season to assist the club in early team roster planning for the following season. These ID sessions are held in place of regular training sessions so current players will be attending and all new players are encouraged to attend, too.
Q: How often do teams practice?
A: Most teams practice twice a week with one of those dates usually being a ball skills training session and the other more of a traditional team practice. Practices start in early August for most teams but can start a little later depending upon a particular team’s league and tournament choices.

SLYSA games are played throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area and Belleville, O’Fallon, and Edwardsville. All leagues play most of their games on Saturdays or Sundays but there will be an occasional game scheduled on weeknights.
Q: Besides league play, do teams play in any tournaments?
