Glen-Ed Skills Academy
Glen-Ed Soccer will offer The Glen-Ed Skills Academy this Spring 2019 presented by John Van Buskirk.
The Glen-Ed Skills Academy is a weekly technical skills training session. The curriculum will focus on fundamental ball skills designed to build confidence with the ball and success in 1v1 situations. The academy will utilize a combination of Coerver ® drills and USSF training methodology to build agility and coordination. The goal is to develop individual ball skills in a fun, challenging and dynamic environment.
The program is open to all Glen-Ed Players and the public born in 2011 through 2005

John’s 20+ year career includes an international playing and coaching career in the Bundesliga at KFC Uerdingen and Kickers Emden. He played college soccer at Indiana University. Most recently he was the Men’s Head Coach at McKendree University prior to assuming the Managing Director of Player and Coach Development for Glen-Ed Soccer.
