The Glen-Ed Soccer Charitable 501.c.3 Organization and the Glen-Ed Soccer Association cordially invites you to attend the Glen-Ed Fall Champions Cup. The dates are October 1-3 (local teams may have the option to play on October 1) in Edwardsville, IL. Through our federally approved 501(c)(3) charitable organization, all tournament proceeds benefit local education and sports programs.

We will have Gold, Silver and Bronze divisions in all age groups where team entries warrant their creation. Our tournaments have enjoyed a strong following from local teams which in turn, has attracted many out-of-town teams seeking diverse competition. During the past 5 years, teams have traveled from 7 different states to play in our tournaments. We go to great lengths to ensure teams get to compete against other teams of similar ability.

Do you coach more than one team?… because all of our fields are in close proximity, accommodating coaches that have 2 teams entered is something we can do much better than most multi-site events.

The tournament is a 3-game guaranteed event and is open to boys and girls U7-U12. All USYSA, US Club and AYSO-affiliated teams are welcome.

Discounts available for clubs with 5 or more teams participating. Because of limited availability, teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

FACILITIES

All games will be played at our Glen-Ed East facility.

This facility is located within the City of Edwardsville’s Plummer Family Park. Click HERE to see park details. We have 7 lighted artificial turf fields (3 full-size soccer fields that are also lined for smaller-sided games and four 7v7 or 4v4 fields in the outfields of the four baseball fields). With this facility, we are even more prepared to offer a very memorable event on the field and off.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS

We are a “Stay to Play” tournament and a condition of acceptance requires every “out of town/2+ hour drive” team to book their hotel rooms using our hotel service reservations partner. Glen-Ed utilizes GCI Team Travel to secure hotel rooms for our tournament. GCI works closely with the hotels in our area to secure the best rates possible. Partner hotels are selected based on their ability to provide the type of services, amenities and prices needed by our out-of-town teams.
