What Parents are saying . . . .
Dave is a true ambassador for youth soccer in the Metro St. Louis Area. All three of my children have participated in his indoor and outdoor soccer programs and have learned very valuable skills while having fun. As a coach myself, Dave has proved to me that coaches or parents yelling at kids from the sidelines doesn’t make a better player. He promotes the idea that the kids need to make the decision out on the field while playing the game without outside distractions. He has also promoted the sport by visiting their school and demonstrating various soccer skills to get the kids interested in the sport.
Both my boys have done several programs with Coach Dave, and I couldn’t be more pleased with what they learned! Both my boys started playing soccer around age four, and I was so pleased that we found Dave’s programs to introduce them to the game. He makes learning ball skills fun. I was also impressed with his excellent management skills – not an easy task with large groups of four year-old kids! The kids listened to him, learned from him, and enjoyed themselves. Anytime I see a camp offered by Coach Dave, I always sign my kids up!
Attending a soccer program that is run by Dave Fernandez is a fantastic experience. The passion and commitment that he has for soccer and the players is contagious. My daughter has attended several of his programs, and not only comes away a better player, but loves attending. As a parent, nothing is better. As a coach, it is a joy to watch.
Dave Fernandez is a very skilled motivational soccer instructor. His programs are organized with age appropriate drills that are taught, practiced, and repeated. He demonstrates each skill with enthusiasm and simple instruction. The kids walk away with self-confidence and a love for the game of soccer.
